This fully engineered, double garage with workshop features everything you expect from a quality Australian Made garage. It is a roomy 8.69-metre x 6-metre garage with 2.4-metre walls, ideally used for a suburban garage.

Each garage has site-specific wind zone engineering. This means the design is adjusted to suit your area's wind zone so its safe and suitable for where it will be built. All engineering and relevant site-specific documentation for local council approval applications will be supplied with all orders. 

Accessories

We supply the gutters and droppers and you can choose and supply your preferred stormwater drainage solution.

Windows & Skylight:

You can add windows or skylights to your Garage Kit via the accessory section.

Skylights are a budget-friendly choice because they simply replace a steel roof panel. They are made of durable fibreglass and span 4 meters. Maximum of 2 for a Double Garage.

Windows require some design alterations but adding a sliding window to a garage not only allows light but the ability to let fresh air in.

• The maximum number of windows you can add to a Double Garage is 2
• It can be placed at either gable or gutter end, 1 metre from the corner

The garages come in 4 different colours:

• Smooth cream
• Slate grey
• Gull grey
• Mist green

Your Wind Zone

Only available for Region A or Region B. Only Available in Non-Cyclonic QLD, NSW, ACT & VIC.

*Please be aware topography of your own area will be taken in consideration when reviewing the engineering papers.

To ensure your safety and the structural warranty of the building the garages are designed for Region A and Region B wind rated areas in Australia. These are NOT suitable for cyclone-prone areas. Please refer to the map for Region A and Region B. If you need assistance in establishing your wind zone we have a wind calculator to guide you:

We also recommend you check your local council. If you purchase a steel building not suitable for your area the council will decline your request.

So to save yourself the hassle and costs, best to check your zone before purchase.

Assembly

You will receive a step by step assembly manual which means you can build the double garage kit yourself, however, you will need a team to do the job

Before assembly, you will need to consider your concrete slab or surface. Please refer to the plans and manuals provided to ensure the correct surface dimensions are met.

The building comes flat packed in 2 Packages. Please note this is a large steel building, so the flat packs are heavy.

Council Approval & Engineering Paper

The Cheap Sheds Garage kits are designed to be site-specific which requires our professional team to develop the engineering plans and documentation. If your plans are not approved by the council your investment is refunded minus an engineering fee, 10% of the total Garage price. However, the documents are yours to own and make adjustments to.
