This fully engineered, single garage features everything you expect from a quality Australian Made garage. It measures 4.36-metre by 6-metre garage with 2.4-metre walls, best for a residential garage.

Each garage has site-specific wind zone engineering. This means the design is adjusted to suit your area's wind zone so its safe and suitable for where it will be built. All engineering and relevant site-specific documentation for local council approval applications will be supplied with all orders. 

Accessories 

Windows & Skylight:

You can add windows or skylights to your Garage Kit via the accessory section.

Corrugated Skylights Sheets - these are a budget-friendly choice because they simply replace a steel roof panel. They are made of durable fibreglass. Maximum of 2 per garage.

Windows - require some design alterations but adding a sliding window to a garage not only allows light but the ability to let fresh air in.

Colours:

The garages come in 4 different colours:

• Smooth cream
• Slate grey
• Gull grey
• Mist green

Gutters:

Gutters are included in your garage kit comes with 2 downpipe droppers (no downpipes). PVC downpipe 90mm is available from your local hardware to meet your site-specific requirements.

Your Wind Zone

Only available for Region A or Region B. Only Available in Non-Cyclonic QLD, NSW, ACT & VIC.

*Please be aware topography of your own area will be taken in consideration when reviewing the engineering papers.

To ensure your safety and the structural warranty of the building the garages are designed for Region A and Region B wind rated areas in Australia. These are NOT suitable for cyclone-prone areas. Please refer to the map for Region A and Region B.

We also recommend you check your local council. If you purchase a steel building not suitable for your area the council will decline your request.

So to save yourself the hassle and costs, best to check your zone before purchase.

Assembly

Garage kits are large steel buildings that are delivered to you flat packed. You will need a team to assemble these buildings, in some cases your council will require you to hire a professional.

We recommend you hire a builder unless you have past experience and confidence with a structure of this size.  

Before assembly, you will need to consider your concrete slab or surface. Please refer to the plans and manuals provided to ensure the correct surface dimensions are met.

The building comes flat packed in 2 Packages. Please note this is a large steel building, so the flat packs are heavy.

Council Approval & Engineering Paper

The UBild Economy Double Garage comes with the relevant plans and certificates for your local council application.  

These Garage kits are designed to be site-specific which requires our professional team to develop the engineering plans and documentation prior to manufacturing. If your plans are not approved by your council your investment is refunded minus an engineering fee, 10%. However, the documents are yours to own and make adjustments to.
