Customer Service Policy
Cheap Sheds is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavor to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. We have a preference that only the top quality Australian Made items are supplied by us.
When purchasing from Cheap Sheds your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact our customer support center on email@example.com.
We will be collecting names, address, email and phone numbers for all customers. All customer contact details will be kept securely in our database. We do not sell or disclose this information to any other person. We do not store or keep any credit card details.
Third party vendors, including Google, show Cheap Sheds ads on sites on the Internet.
Returns & Refunds
If you made a wrong colour or size selection you can send the item back to us in its original condition and packaging. Each supplier has different return policies so please take note on the details below.
Returns Policy as of January 2017
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery (your shed is made specifically to your specification). You will receive a refund of your product price minus a 30% restocking fee & less the cost of shipping, this will vary according to the weight of the item. Refunds are via cheque only. Please ask our team if you need any clarification of this policy.
We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Please note that garages, carports and workshops are manufactured to order and the manufacturer will not accept returns for those items.

All orders which are cancelled or returned once dispatched from the factory will be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return freight costs. (price list)
Spanbilt/Cheap Sheds Returns
Returns Policy as of February 2017
Garden Sheds: Cancellation of an order for Garden Sheds after manufacture and dispatch will incur a 25% restocking fee plus the freight cost incurred for return of the goods. Product returned must be received in a saleable condition.
Custom Made Product: Products that have been manufactured to individual specifications are not returnable.
Garages, Carports, Smartlockers and Workshops: These large products are manufactured to individual specifications and as a made to order product are not able to be cancelled once manufacture has commenced.
Replacement/faulty: Where product supplied is damaged in transport or found to be faulty we will provide replacement free of charge of the damaged or faulty components or product in a timely manner.
Goods assessed to be damaged by misuse or accident outside the control of Spanbilt will incur a charge for any replacement components or product.
Stilla, Duramax, Keter
You may cancel an order but have to cover the freight cost for the goods to get back to our warehouse.
There is a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund.
Goods have to be back in our warehouse within 30 days.
Suncast will accept the return of the product subject to the following conditions:
- The product will need to be packaged back in its original box.
- The product will be shipped back to Master Distributors on our nominated carrier.
- The customer must be at home when our nominated carrier calls to pick it up. If our nominated carrier is unable to nominate a time which may lead to the customer being available at his/her home for the day.
- Once product is received we will process a credit of the value that we sold the product to you at.
Supplier will refund or replace goods if they are faulty, however we do not offer refund for change of mind.
Replacement & Missing Parts
Once you have received your product it is good practice to check off all the parts in the package using the part list provided in the box. Taking this step will ensure you have everything you need when you decide to assemble the product.
There is nothing worse than setting aside a day for the project and discovering a part is missing. Some customers choose to wait an extended period of time before assembling their product and find themselves in this situation. So to avoid any disappointment (in the rare case a part is missing or you need a replacement), we recommend you check your product immediately upon receiving it.
If there is any part missing you can send a request to Cheap Sheds, who will notify the manufacturer immediately and arrange for replacements to be sent out. You have 30 days upon receiving the product to report a missing part with Cheap Sheds. However, if you are in this situation and it’s beyond 30 days after receiving your product, please still contact us to see if we can assist you with finding you a solution.
